HOW TO ADJUST TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE LINKAGE. TRANSMISSION NOT SHIFTING
If your transmission shifter needs to be adjusted because when you try to shift you car the indicator does not match with the actual gear we will show you how to adjust transmission cable shifter linkage. In our case when the transmission indicator showed that the car was in reverse it was still in park and did not go in reverse and when the car was supposed to be in drive it was in neutral. By adjusting the transmission cable / linkage we were able to fix that problem. Multiple cars will use that design of transmission cable. Some cars will let you adjust the transmission cable on the transmission side some on the shifter side. But the procedure is almost the same to adjust the transmission cable.
