Blanka Vlasic reached the pinnacle of European athletics in 2010. The Croatian high jumper won European gold in Barcelona at the European Athletics Championships.

A year after winning her second high jump World title, she finally won gold in the European arena while in the Spanish city.

Vlasic overcame the best women’s European high jumpers, including defending champion Tia Hellebaut.
