i found this cassette in 2022 at the thrift store for 0.5 euro and this is one of my all time favorite albums now. i couldn't find the audio online, so it became a starting point for this channel ~ to share such findings. it's an amazing groovy mixture of new-agey ambient, bossa-nova and easy listening jazz with nature sounds. Second Sight is Byron M. Davis and Joel Peskin, they recorded a number of new age albums under the Nature's Harmony brand and released several CDs and cassettes before disappearing from the genre. Byron M. Davis seems to have some more solo albums but from what i could find they're far from the vivid lush of this tape. and yes, i also scored this album on CD later and guess what ~ it doesn't sound as good as the cassette. something is missing, even though one may say it's just tape hiss. but i think for this kind of music it's essential. hope you'll enjoy it as much as i do!
