Mutton Curry and Mutton blood Recipes

Ingredients:

Mutton Blood Recipe:

Mutton Blood
Grated Coconut
Chopped Chilis
Fennel Seeds
Kalpasi
Cumin
Chopped Onions
Coriander Leaves
Turmeric
Oil

Mutton Curry Recipe:

Mutton – 500 G
Fennel Seeds
Kalpasi
Cumin
Chopped Onions
Chopped Tomatoes
Coriander Leaves
Turmeric
Indian Curry Masala
Salt
Oil

For Mixture:

Grated Coconut
Cashew

Description:

Mutton Blood Recipe:
In a pan or kadai, heat the oil over medium heat.
Saute the chopped onions in the skillet until they get golden brown.
To the pan, add grated coconut, fennel seeds, cumin, and chopped chillis. Cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently, until the coconut turns light brown and aromatic.
Mix the turmeric powder with the remaining ingredients in the pan.
Add the mutton blood to the pan and gradually whisk it into the spice mixture. Cook, stirring periodically, for about 5 minutes.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes after adding the kalpassi to the pan.
Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook the curry for a few minutes to enable the flavours to blend.

Mutton Curry Recipe:

Mutton should be well cleaned and chopped into bite-sized pieces.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
Saute the fennel seeds, kalpasi, and cumin for a minute, or until aromatic.
Cook the onions in the pan until they are golden brown.
Cook until the mutton pieces are browned on all sides in the pan.
Prepare the mixture in the meantime. In a blender, combine grated coconut and cashews to make a smooth paste. Place aside.
After the mutton has been browned, add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and simmer until softened.
To the pan, add turmeric, Indian curry masala, and salt. Mix carefully to properly coat the meat with the spices.
Fill the pan halfway with the prepared coconut and cashew mixture. Stir everything together thoroughly.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer the mutton for 30-40 minutes, or until soft.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and, if necessary, add a little water to maintain the proper consistency.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves once the mutton is cooked and soft.
Remove from the heat and let aside for a few moments before serving.
With steamed rice or naan bread, serve the delectable mutton curry.
