Hola, soy María. Hoy estoy en el parque con mi amigo Diego. Es un día bonito y hace sol. A Diego le gusta mucho dibujar y tiene un cuaderno nuevo. Él dibuja los árboles y las flores. Yo leo un libro. Todo está muy tranquilo. De repente, Diego dice: «¡Oh, no!». Miro a Diego. Él tiene un problema. Su lápiz favorito no está. Es un lápiz especial de color azul. Diego busca en su mochila. Saca un libro, una botella de agua, una manzana… pero no está el lápiz. Diego está triste. Su lápiz azul es muy importante para él. Yo pienso un momento. Soy una persona práctica. Le pregunto: «Diego, ¿dónde usaste el lápiz por última vez?». Él piensa y dice: «Aquí, para dibujar el árbol grande». Miro el césped, debajo del banco donde estamos sentados. No veo el lápiz. Luego, tengo una idea. Le digo a Diego: «Muéstrame tu dibujo». Diego me da su cuaderno. El dibujo del árbol es muy bonito. Paso la página. Y en la página siguiente, ¡ahí está! El lápiz está dentro del cuaderno, entre dos páginas. Diego no recuerda ponerlo ahí. Diego sonríe. «¡Gracias, María! ¡Eres muy lista!», me dice. Yo sonrío también. A veces, la solución está en el lugar más simple. Ahora, Diego puede continuar con su dibujo y yo puedo continuar con mi libro.
