‎### `--technique` — choose the injection technique(s)
‎
‎**Purpose:** Instruct sqlmap which SQL injection technique(s) to try so it doesn't probe every possible technique — this makes testing faster and more targeted.
‎
‎**Common technique letters & meanings**
‎
‎* `B` = Boolean-based blind
‎* `E` = Error-based
‎* `U` = UNION query-based
‎* `S` = Stacked queries (piggybacking)
‎* `T` = Time-based blind
‎* `Q` = Inline / inline-query techniques
‎
‎Focus techniques to reduce noise and speed up assessments when you know which injection types are likely.

‎### `--risk` — control how invasive the payloads are
‎
‎**Purpose:** Controls how risky or potentially disruptive sqlmap's payloads are. Higher risk values make sqlmap try more invasive payloads that may increase load or cause errors on the target.
‎
‎**Usage guidance:** Use higher risk only on systems where you have explicit authorization because riskier payloads can affect database integrity, cause heavy load, or trigger alarms.

‎### `--threads` — concurrency for faster testing
‎
‎**Purpose:** Use multiple worker threads to speed up testing by sending parallel requests. This is particularly helpful for slow techniques (e.g., time-based extraction).
‎
‎**Caveats:** High thread counts increase traffic/noise, may trigger rate limits or WAFs, and could overload a target. Balance speed with caution and always respect the target’s stability and authorization scope.
