Here I attempt to go hiking and wild camping, on my own in the magnificent Val d'Aran region of the Spanish Pyrenees. Reaching heights of over 2600 metres with incredible views across towards Aneto and Maladeta, the highest peaks in the region, Autumn is almost in full bloom, the days are cooler and the nights even colder. This is my first time solo wild camping in this region and what a brilliant place to do it. Just stunning!

With a failing sleeping mat that would help with the cold night, do I stay or bail? You'll have to watch to find out!
