Difference from previous video is that the circle is transparent so intersections appear darker. This video is a demonstration of what happens when you expand a circle on a torus. In the limit, as the radius approaches infinity, the circle "equidistributes". That means that given any function on the torus, the average value of the function on the circle is the same as the average value over the entire torus. Another way of looking at it is that the arc length of the circle inside any given region is proportional to the area of the region.
