Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand, which was halted due to rain, resumed on Wednesday. The pilgrimage was suspended from October 17-19 amid warnings of very heavy rainfall. Decision to resume the yatra came after CM Pushkar Dhami held a review meeting in Nainital. “Garwhal is almost under control, and the pilgrimage has resumed there. NDRF has deployed 15 teams & rescued thousands from flood-affected areas of Uttarakhand.
