For Episode 26 of the Gutter Rose Quarantine Concert Series, the group is celebrating St. Patrick's Day by recording one of their favorite traditional Irish songs, "Whiskey In the Jar".

The song tells the story of an Irish highwayman who robs a military officer but is then betrayed by his lover. The exact origins of the song are unknown but it has been suggested that it dates back in the 17th century in Ireland. The song became a favorite of Colonial Americas because of the song's attitude towards British officials, and there were even americanized versions set in the Ozark and Appalachian mountains.

While the song has been played by many artists over the years, Gutter Rose feels there is no better one that Thin Lizzy's adaptation which was released as a single in 1973 and topped the Irish chats.

The video features incredible guitar work by JD, Michael's soaring vocals, and the much anticipated return of Jenna's flute.
