Tim Lauer's career is impossible to summarize in a short paragraph. He has touched so much music that it's pretty unlikely that you've not encountered his work.

At the time of this filming, the TV show Nashville was winding down, and he was the Executive Music Producer for its last two seasons. He's currently in the same role for ABC's flagship Big Sky.

In this episode, Tim walks us from growing up as a missionary kid in Japan through an adolescence in rural Wisconsin to finding his place in Nashville (and really, the international music industry).
