Microchip 12f629 PWM and Light Flasher

Описание к видео Microchip 12f629 PWM and Light Flasher

Using the 45-cent 12f629 micro-processor to blink 4 LEDs at different frequencies and run a fifth LED on PWM (Pulse-Width-Modulation).

The first half shows all the LEDs running at regular speed. The flicker you see on the PWM is due to the recording speed of the camera. To the naked eye, it is a smooth transition from off to full brilliance.

The second half shows the PWM operation at 1/3 speed. The length of the pulses stretch from 0% to 100% in a 16mSec cycle. This gives the impression of the LED slowly increasing in brightness.

The circuit is totally self-contained, other than the LEDs and resistors to limit current, all the timing and controls are contained in the 8-pin chip.
