We head into the historic Catamounts on the northern slope of Pikes Peak along The Front Range where the Pikes Peak highway snakes through on its way to the summit. Along the road you pass by a goofy looking Sasquatch crossing sign. Bigfoot it certainly made fun of, but the reason the sign is up in the first place is because many have run across the elusive beast in the area. My friend Craig and I head out into the remote areas of the Catamounts to an area that has had past encounters, many of whom are reported from hunting guides and outdoorsmen. We explore a little bit and I dive into the history of the area and some of the Sasquatch accounts that are publicly known.
