Sci-fi and fantasy have long had a deep and meaningful impact on their viewers that identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community. As genres that involve imagined worlds, they give both creators and viewers the freedom to take a deeper look at the issues impacting our society. Stranger Things is no exception.
