Get rid of the old paper filter, preserve the metallic frame, buy from an autostore a foam filter, do some sccisoring and mount the foam. Glue the foam in place via gluegun , silicon or whatever works for you and you are good to go. Congrays, You have a home made sports air filter. Costs, 10$ foam , 5$glue if you have none in house . Compared to a 15$new paper airfilter ...you'll have a new story to tell your friends and your engine will breath like a Dragon. Do not forget to put some engine oil over the foam before mounting it, helps to catch more dust and particles. Maintanence is every 3000km, wash, dry and oil.
