Woodford School Lusaka Inter-House Athletics Days 2023 Highlights

Our annual Athletics Days were a great occasion that saw resilience, great competition, teamwork, and celebration. The competitions took place over three days, with the ELC students kicking off on May 30, followed by the Lower and Upper Primary sections who competed on May 31 and June 1, respectively.

We were treated to various races, including the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and for the first time, 1200m for our Grade 3 and 4s. Other races were egg on a spoon, sack, beanbag, and potato races. Well done to all the participants.

A huge Congratulations to Acacia House for emerging as winners of this year’s Athletics Days. 🏆 Acacia members were on fire, worked as a team, and applied "Pressure" over the three days. It was a pleasure to watch them in action. Bravo Blue House! 💙💙💙

We are grateful to our parent community for showing up in huge numbers to cheer for our students. You always add life and zest to such events. Woodford School Lusaka staff were also great. Kudos to you all for the exceptional team spirit you always exhibit.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
