Actor Vijay Blows The Bugle Against DMK And BJP | Tamil Nadu Politics

Actor Vijay targets 'dynastic, divisive politics' at first rally, DMK responds. Actor-politician Vijay held his first rally in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, criticizing BJP and DMK for divisive and dynastic politics without naming them directly. Vijay, founder of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK), accused DMK of being run by 'one family' profiting off the people, asserting his party opposes any divisive or 'Dravidian model' politics. He highlighted TVK's commitment to 'Dravidian and Tamil nationalism' as integral, likening them to 'two eyes of our soil'. However, DMK leader TKS Elangovan dismissed Vijay's remarks, claiming the party has no proven corruption cases. Udhayanidhi Stalin, DMK's Dy. CM, wished his longtime friend success, while Tamilisai Soundararajan of the BJP said Vijay misunderstood BJP's developmental politics.
