The descend mode is a survival mode (Something I'm very familiar with). Each stage contains a random assortment of enemies from the ascension route, with the addition of a 'Cat'. The stages typically have 2 or 3 opponents per stage so it can be tricky, especially as the opponents are random. One could be a 2 hit weakling, and the next can guard impact your life away sending you back to the start.

There are some unlocks on stages 5,10,15,20,25,30,25,40. 5-20 items can only be unlocked in descend. 25-40 items can be unlocked by completing honours/trophies.

Does the Astaroth Brigade succeed in this Challenge? (Clearly not as this is part 1).


Yes, this is quite late. Not sure why really, should have come out months ago. An Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree playthrough is coming up next. The first video has a montage at the start that I'm pretty proud of.

Part 2 will come out sometime after Elden Ring and a Devour video showing the new map on the 19th. Then it will be SC4 movesets and Worms Armageddon (Conveniently getting a 25-anniversary special rerelease, maybe this delay might have been handy).

I talk about some other video ideas and probable projects in the Elden Ring videos too. Might be interesting.
