INGREDIENTS:
For masala powder:
coriander seeds 1 tbp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Dry red chillies 4
Turmeric powder
METHOD:
Roast all the above ingredients except Turmeric powder on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
Let them cool down completely. Once cooled transfer it to a mixer grinder jar along with turmeric powder and grind it to a fine powder. keep it aside .
For chicken curry:
Oil 2 -3 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies 2
Curry leaves 2 springs
Onion 2 sliced
Green chillies 2 chopped
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Tomato 1 chopped
Chicken 500 gm
Salt to taste
prepared masala powder
Water 1 cup
Crushed garlic 6-8
Coriander leaves chopped
METHOD:
Heat oil in a kadhai and add mustard seeds let them splutter then add red chillies and curry leaves saute it for few seconds on low flame.add onions along with green chillies saute on medium flame until golden brown. add ginger garlic paste and saute it for 2 mins on low flame then add tomato mix well and cook on medium flame for 2 mins then add chicken along with salt fry the chicken on medium flame for 4-5 minutes.
Cover it and cook on low flame for 5 mins after 5 mins give a stir and add prepared masala powder .mix it well add water give a mix and let it boil on high flame .Once it boils reduce the flame to low and cook for 10-12 mins after that open the lid and give a stir add crushed garlic and Coriander leaves . mix it well and cook on low flame for 2 minutes. After 2 mins turn off the flame serve hot with roti chapathi naan or rice .
