Graupner Topsy with Cox Babe Bee 049 0,8ccm, big wind, small plane, much fun!

Despite of some wind I decided to remaiden my Graupner Topsy after conversion from electric to classic Cox glow power. This recorded flight was later in the day, after I made some experiments with propeller sizes. In my opinion the Babe Bee is too powerful for this plane, a Pee Wee would fit much better. The Topsy is originally built for free flight or one channel escapement, and with the powerful engine it aims at the stars. So the final setting, at least for today, was a 5x3 threeblade prop mounted backside front. Maybe I will experiment with Texaco setups.
The video was taken with an old Mobius cam I already had, mounted on a cap. The wide angle is not so extreme, so I think it is the second best solution after a camera man, hehe.
