Bell X-1 Mach Buster 1/72 Tamiya 60740 Model Build | RWO Models

This video shows my build of the Tamiya Bell X-1 Mach Buster in 1/72 scale. After four Revell models in a row I wanted to try a higher quality kit and chose the X-1 for its simple build and color scheme. Also the possibility of building the model with a transparent fuselage showing some of the internal components of the plane appealed to me. I was not disappointed, the kit quality is better than those Revell kits I got my hands on so far. I guess 95% of all modelers building this kit will choose the famous "Glamorous Glennis" scheme, and so did I. This was the plane which in 1947 for the first time in history broke the barrier of sound with Chuck Yeager on the controls. I'm sure you all know the details...
