A small community that’s less than 0.2% of the world population holds 22% of all Nobel Prizes given...

There are 954 Nobel prizes given since 1901 and out of which 212 have been awarded to people who are Jews or have at least one Jewish parent...

This is nuts and a lot of people have tried to figure out why... including claiming that the Jews have a much higher IQ in comparison to other communities of the world...

While a few may refute that claim, one can’t deny that there has been generations of compounding in a culture promoting intelligence, innovation and education which leads to them being successful not just in academic pursuits but also in business and finance...

If I were to distill it down to only one reason, I believe it’s because the Jews are a community that vehemently thinks about and works towards uplifting the entire community...

So if a Jewish person ends up starting a profitable business, he’ll pull all his friends and relatives into it so that everyone makes money...

They don’t hold their success a secret from others to avoid envy or an evil eye... they share openly which leads to the entire community working towards making everyone wealthy and smart.

Because you grow much more if you make people around you grow.

If you give to others, it comes back a hundred times over.

Are we as Indians ready culturally to embrace this yet?

To quote a Jewish proverb, “to defend a country, you need an army, but to defend an identity, you need a school.”
