This was a very intense & scary moment for those of us watching this unfold live! M15 is seen flying in with a big fish and the female intruder is right behind him landing right on the nest! M15 mantles and protects the E's and his fish from the intruder. She goes to the side of the nest rails and then back to the nest & up to the veranda to wait for another opportunity. M15 begins to feed the E's beginning with E21 and the E22 makes its way over.

The intruder will come back down to the nest and M15 alerts at her. She comes closer inching towards the fish and bites M15 on the head & pushes him off the nest! The intruder than starts to eat the fish - E22 is squeeing and hopes to be fed but the intruder bites E22 and warns it away from the fish. Both E's lay low and let the intruder eats. But then E22 goes back squeeing hoping for food and the intruder warns E22 away a couple more times. E22 goes to the rails. The intruder also warns E21 away as well.

After eating most of the fish, the intruder flies off the nest. We see that M15 is on the outer branch and he remains there for some time watching the pasture and the E's on the nest. M15 & the E's are fine after this incident. M15 avoided a confrontation with the intruder when he got pushed off the nest and did not return to avoid risk of injury to himself or the eaglets. He realized the intruder was simply after the fish so he let her eat it. M15 did bring in another fish later in the afternoon and fed both E's.
