I wanted to show you these amazing miter shears that I used to create a missing piece from my thrifted bench. It's adjustable and then you just snip the shears down on your wood. They're perfect for trim. Here's a tip - they're easier to use if you cut with the grain of the wood.

Once I cut the wood, I just sanded it down and painted it and it was the perfect fit.
