1. The First step to being authentic is to Stop People-pleasing. If you are an empathy or a sensitive type, you are likely to naturally want people to be happy. You can feel their emotion and might be likely to overstep your own boundaries in order to keep the peace.

2. The Second step to being authentic is to learn to say NO! This is often a tough one for Empaths. It’s OK to say no, In fact it is healthy. If you have a tendency to say yes to everyone and everything you are likely to be over giving of your energy. Saying NO does not make you a bad person!

3. The third step to being authentic is to be in your own energy. If you are an Empath or a sensitive type, having time to yourself allow you to know how you feel. There are some people that know how they feel and what they want there and then, there are others who need to go and reflect first.

4. The fourth step to being authentic is to go into Nature. Nature helps to recharge and ground us. It balances our energy and helps us have more clarity and reconnect to ourselves.

5. The fifth step to being authentic is to speak your truth. You are a Unique human. There is nobody else in the world exactly like you. You have your own views & perspectives in the word and they are worthy of being expressed. No more muffling your voice. Express yourself!
