VADOC - Recovery is Possible

Recovery is Possible is intended to encourage recovery for all people under the care of the Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC). For all new intakes into VADOC correctional facilities, it will be required viewing. This video emphasizes the nature of addiction as a treatable disease, and highlights pathways to recovery available within the VADOC. It features inspirational testimonials and educational content from incarcerated Peer Recovery Specialists, VADOC staff, and supporters from communities around Virginia. It is our hope that those who see this production will be inspired to use the tools available to them to engage in the journey of recovery from addiction. Recovery is Possible is a presentation of the Virginia Department of Corrections. It was produced by Bookend Creative.
