Replacing the interior light unit or map reading light bulbs in a 2006 to 2013 Toyota Yaris Mark 2. The bulbs are 12 volt, 5 watt W5W wedge bulbs. NOTE: It is not strictly necessary to disconnect the car battery for simple, push-in interior bulb replacements, provided the lights are turned off. However, doing so is recommended to prevent accidental short circuits, blown fuses, or damage to sensitive electronic components.
