Set in the sprawling map called Fort Lyndon — a hidden military black-site embedded in a Southern California beach/urban cul-de-sac region — REDSEC drops up to 100 players (in squads of 2 or 4) into a high-stakes fight for survival.

Players select one of the familiar class systems (Assault, Support etc.), navigate the map collecting gear and loot, exploit the signature “Tactical Destruction” system (blasting walls/buildings to change the battlefield) and deploy vehicles, all while contending with the deadly shrinking zone that kills instantly on contact rather than slowly.

Beyond the core battle-royale mode, REDSEC also features:

Gauntlet — an elimination-style mode where 8 squads of 4 compete round-by-round with dynamic missions and changing locations.

Portal integration — the same sandbox creation tools from Battlefield 6, allowing players to re-configure the Fort Lyndon playspace, create custom rules, spawn settings, weapon/vehicle pools, etc.

Importantly: REDSEC is free to play, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and does not require ownership of Battlefield 6.
