We often get asked to show the real-time tuning process as quite a few people are (admirably) working on their ear training and would like some tips for what to be listening for. We decided to produce an extra video outside of our Tuesday Tutorial series that walks through the tuning process as we go about clearing a drumhead (getting it in tune with itself) after it’s been completely thrown out of tune.

This is a bonus video and we want to make it clear from the onset that it’s LONG! 20min+ long! If you’re looking for a bunch of drumming samples and crazy cool sounds, go watch some of our other episodes- this one is about taking the time and really using your ears as we guide you through the clearing of this snare batter head.
