A meeting by Leaders of the Forum for Democratic Change in Kasese district failed to happen after Police intercepted their procession and forced them to return to Kampala. FDC president Patrick Oboi Amuriat and former president Dr. Kizza Besigye were scheduled to hold a rally at Nyakasanga play ground but were blocked by police and army. Police fired teargas to stop those following the opposition leaders
