High Voltage Engineering an important course in the under graduate degree level course of Electrical Engineering. The contents of this course are classification of dielectrics and breakdown mechanisms in them, over voltage phenomenon in power system and insulation coordination, generation and measurement of high voltages and currents, high voltage and non destructive testing. Through the series of lectures the concepts of high voltage engineering subjects will be explained.
