Flosstube #1 and

Hi everyone!

Thank you for being here and taking a chance on my video. ❤️🥰
My name is Bridgett, but my friends call me Bee.
I'm 50 years old and have been cross stitching kn and off since 3rd grade.I am happily married for 25 years and counting to the love of my life (second marriage), I have 3 grown kids (my "baby" is 24!) and I have 3 grandsons. Two are 1.5 years old (nope not twins, just two of my kids deciding to have kids at the same time) and one is a whopping 2 weeks old. It's fun to be a Grandma. I am originally from Bavaria. I emigrated to the US in 1998 and I live in the beautiful PNW in Washington State, way up North, right between Seattle and the Border to Canada.

We have 3 cats, Radish, a tuxedo, Bismarck, her brother, a tabby and Schnitzel a Russian blue mix. all rescues. we also have a budgie named Keith.
You will hear (and sometimes see) them in my videos. As well as hear the dryer going, or the lawn being mowed or a neighbour coming home. I film during the day when life is in full swing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have been lurking in flosstube for a hot minute lol and finally decided I will jump in and make a video myself. I am still relatively new to all of this youtube stuff lol. So please judge gently.

I haven't cross stitched in a lot of years, but my friend Syd and I have decided to start a project together. She is a much more accomplished cross stitcher than I am. Gonna be hard to keep up with her.

I do a lot of other crafts when I don't embroider. I am a selftaught quilter and my dayjob is being an artist. I am partial to changing things in patterns lol. I used to design knitting patterns. And I like putting my own cross stitch charts together, as well as design my iwn embroideries and quilts. It's how I learned to do things. My grandmother taught me how to knit and make my own patterns from paper after existing clothes. Or just come up with my own for whatever I need. It did spoil me a bit for following patterns of any kind though 😆
I love to cook and garden (although I only have a container garden atm on my tiny balcony), read and knit and crochet and and and. AllTheThings.

I have a thrift haul to show. Also a first. I don't usually do haul videos at all, but I fo make an exception for thift hauls as it is second hand and to join in on Valita's #opshopcrafter hashtag (guess it should be #thriftstorecrafter over here?). I enjoy her videos a lot. They are always so much fun.
