Let's Build a Desert Panzer 3 | Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.j

German tanks deployed in Africa often had to cover long distances in challenging desert conditions. As a result, they commonly carried various equipment necessary for long journeys and field repairs. Inspired by period photographs, I decided to replicate this on my model as well. After a brief dilemma about which version of the tank to build, I chose the later variant with the long 50mm gun and a turret marked with the red number “5,” which served in Libya in 1942.
