【4K Japan】2024.9 上野 歓楽街（仲町通り）『Ueno Red Light District 』

上野 仲町通り
江戸時代、本郷から湯島へ通じる唯一の道として栄えた通り。現在は、リーズナブルに飲めるお店が並ぶ、サラリーマンの天国。上野二丁目仲町通り商店会は、旧黒門町・池之端・数奇屋町が合併して誕生した約200ｍの通り会で、その中ほどを地境いに西側の一部は文京区となっている。江戸末期から昭和初期にかけて、紅灯弦歌の街として栄えた界隈として名を馳せたが、その歴史と伝統も様変わりし、昨今はそのほとんどが居酒屋・カラオケボックス・飲食店等に衣替えし、勤労者・学生を中心とした若い世代が毎夜大挙して押し寄せ、活気を呈している。
Ueno Nakamachi Street
During the Edo period, this street prospered as the only road leading from Hongo to Yushima. Today, it is a paradise for salaried workers, lined with restaurants where you can drink at reasonable prices. Ueno 2-chome Nakamachi-dori Shopping Street is a 200-meter street association formed by the merger of the former Kuromoncho, Ikenohata, and Sukiyacho districts. From the end of the Edo period to the beginning of the Showa era, it was famous as a neighborhood that prospered as a town of red light strings, but its history and traditions have changed completely, and most of them have been transformed into izakayas, karaoke boxes, and restaurants these days. The young generation, mainly students, flock in droves every night and it is lively.
