Viking Style Take On The Vampire Survivors Genre Blew My Mind in Nordic Ashes Survivors of Ragnarok

Nordic Ashes is a beautifully done game that takes on the Vampire Survivors genre. The graphics, the music, the playstyle and mechanics are really well done and thought through. A complaint I frequently have is that it feels like the developer didn't play their own game, especially with issues like hitboxes or balancing, but here it feels so well done to keep you on the edge. The game ramps up slowly, but if you don't keep up you quickly fall behind. However, since the hitboxes are so well done and nothing is in there to just annoy you, you can manouver around and survive for way longer than you should, and hope for an item or chest to put you ahead again. What the game lacks is something refreshing and more alternatives overall, however this is typical with Demos and usually this ramps up quickly. For example Soulstone Survivors also had the same issue and on the next release, they double their character list from 3 to 6 and add more bosses, which was previously 1 repeating boss. I fully support this choice as I rather want to see well polished features instead of 5 times the amount but only 20% done.
