Solid, a puzzle ring - Why did this puzzle get so many YouTube views?

Oskar's contribution was the design of an accurate CAD model of the ring which includes slanted walls between the rings, so the ring can be taken apart. What makes this puzzle ring special is its solid design (hence its name). The ring is made of silver. It was cast-off from a Shapeways 3D-printed original made of the frosted extreme detail material, which is perfectly suited for this purpose.
