It's a cold afternoon in November with low ceilings and snow flurries in the area.This is plane spotting at Denver International Airport (KDEN) as various aircraft arrive and depart. The first scenes are taken from the cold, windy field on the approach to 35L. The second half of the video was made from the top level of the east parking garage. There is a typical mix of traffic today including Boeing 737s, Airbus A320s, and Regional Jets. Highlight for today was the arrival of the British Airways Boeing 747-400 from London Heathrow.
The major carriers in late 2018 are; United, Southwest, Frontier, American and Delta The airport is about 18 miles (29 km) northeast of downtown Denver.
