Amy, DPT, NCPT, teaches you Pilates and physical therapy exercises to heal a Diastasis Recti: separation of the abdominal muscles that commonly occurs during pregnancy. We will progress exercises to strengthen the inner unit of core muscles: transverse abdominis and the pelvic floor. Please get approval from your physician before starting a postnatal exercise program. All exercises should be pain free so please modify anything that causes discomfort.
