KOA Holiday St. Augustine, FL - Campground Review

Missy and Stuart spent two great weeks at the KOA Holiday in St. Augustine, Florida during November 2021.

This KOA Holiday in St. Augustine is located just off the A1A in St. Augustine Beach. The KOA Holiday is approximately 3/4 of a mile from the Atlantic Ocean and some great beaches. Approximately at 10 minute drive to historic St. Augustine and is close to many restaurants, fast food establishments and other activities.

Now, we are not ones to participate in campground activities or use facilities often found at campgrounds, so we can't speak about the quality of the pool and other activities or facilities at this KOA Holiday in St. Augustine.

Since Missy and Stuart still work full time from our Thor Venetian, we have very little time for other activities. We are trying hard to fix that. This KOA Holiday was suitable for the two weeks we were there.

There are some things we would caution you against.

1. Location: Although the location is great, close to the beach and historic St. Augustine, if you are looking for something close to Interstate 95, this KOA Holiday is not for you.
2. BBQ: We never been at a KOA where grills were provided and this KOA Holiday in St. Augustine shouldn't provide them. They were is horrible condition, falling apart and downright dangerous.

Now to the good stuff.

1. Close to the ocean
2. Close to lots of things to see and do. Concert venues, Alligator farm
3. Close to great restaurants. We recommend Little Margies

The KOA Holiday is a great campground and we highly recommend it.

There are a lot of KOAs out there that are horrible. This is NOT one of them. This is a great KOA.
