Freshman running back Jaylan Knighton rushed for 83 yards and caught 6 passes for another 83 yards and a touchdown. Miami wide receiver Charleston Rambo caught 9 passes for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win. For NC State, quarterback Devin Leary threw two touchdown passes to Thayer Thomas and rushed for a touchdown in the loss.
