The Dumbest Ban in Xbox History. Throughout the years, many people received the dumbest bans on Xbox Live. It’s not secret that you can get banned for no reason. It happened to me as well as other people. But what if there was a reason? But the reason is the dumbest reason in Xbox History. Thanks to Xbox Enforcement’s reliability on bots and AI, there are some dumb reasons to get banned on Xbox that are simply incorrect but never corrected by an actual person. In my opinion, this is hands down, one of the dumbest ways to get your Xbox banned.

I received a DM on Twitter from someone who claimed to have received the dumbest ban in the history of Xbox bans. While that is an overstatement in my opinion, it’s definitely “up there.” This person was banned for saying “C” on an Xbox Live message. It was no abbreviation, or joke, or euphemism. He simply said the letter C, which resulted in a 2 day suspension from Xbox Live. I’ve heard of people getting banned for saying “GG.” I believe it. Because that was definitely an error ban. A ban that was issued by AI but never corrected by a person.

Xbox Enforcement states that they look at reports no longer than 24 hours which means a person at Xbox Enforcement looked at this, and thought this ban was rightfully issued and just. Can someone explain how C can get you banned? I’ve seen some really dumb bans on Xbox Live. “C” is definitely a first. I believe an AI marked it as spam and issued a two day Xbox Enforcement Action. Someone looked at it and decided to not revoke the ban or correct it in any way. This only proves that Xbox Enforcement does not care about unjust suspensions and Xbox Enforcement Actions against other players.

This Xbox ban wasn’t recent as it dates all the way back to last year. But it was worth talking about. I tried this out myself on my Xbox Account. I sent myself “C,” but it was never banned. Which definitely proves that the said ban was made incorrectly by AI or some kind of bot, never to be corrected by a human being. I can see why Xbox lost the console wars.
