As a new producer, you may find it tricky to set your initial levels for important voices such as kick, bass and snare.

Setting them low is not too much of a problem, but setting them too high will make you adjust your faders down frequently so your master channel doesn’t clip. This can get annoying very quickly.

Let me show you a quick way to calibrate the kick, snare and bass so you always have a great starting point for your mix or production.
