Diamond Weave Lei for Graduation Lei Homecoming Mum Whip Diamondback Braid

This video shows how to make this blue and white Diamond Weave Braided Lei. Diamond weave is also called whip braid and it's very popular for homecoming mums. I do this braid for leis, too. You can make this beautiful ribbon lei with different colors. You can choose up to 4 colors. I usually make 2 braids for one lei, so it looks bigger. I hope this video can be helpful. This lei is very simple to make. I used 3/8" ribbons, but we can use 5/8" ribbons, too, so the lei is bigger. The materials for 34" lei are
3.5 yards 3/8” white picot satin ribbon
3.5 yards 3/8” royal blue satin ribbon
