Presenting seven sweaty days in Italy's capital, based in the Pigneto neighborhood, with a stop on the way in Lake Trasimeno for some of that famous carpa regina in porchetta (basically fish cooked like it's a pig). Lots of Roman food (my favorite is cacio e pepe & pizze al taglio). A bit of Mussolini in the way of fascist architecture. Some Vatican City. No Colosseum.
