Halceon Beach - Sunset In 2288 - Story Driven Atmospheric Ambient

Experience Sunset on Halceon Beach,. Halceon City is the first joint alien-human city on Earth, created in 2260 in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It was built to completion in just one year by Holotec Construction Droids. As of the year 2288, Halceon Beach, located on the west side of Halceon City, holds the Central Coms Tower that handles 70% of the planet's interstellar communications and is the main hub of the West Coast for hyper-speed internet.

Halceon Beach is not considered a tourist location, as the Coms Tower sits in District B, an area spanning about 8 square miles of criminal activity. To the north of the beach are the Dust Lands, where cybernetic entities known as Altheons have extended parts of Halceon City with miles of battery farms and cyber tech facilities. While they will work with humans, most humans stay out of their cities as too many have gone missing for anyone to be interested in roaming the northern sectors. Before sunset, veterans, drug dealers, and thugs tend to roam the beach, with some people even swimming in the waters.

There is no way up into the control tower or surrounding areas unless you work for Holotec or have some sort of military clearance. Halceon is a sight to behold at night, with the various building holograms lighting up the distant view, or the bioluminescent water that glows a dreary turquoise color.

There are some less than desirable alien races living amongst humans in Halceon City. The Druids (hybrid human-reptilian) have control of most of the southern sector of District B. Their crime syndicate, "The Saurian Empire", is a steady pusher of adrenal gland extracts from human clones on the black market, or from unfortunate bystanders roaming the beach at night. Rival gang fights are frequent, and to the east, you have the slums where dangerous alien entities reside.

To the far west, you have the Protected Haven District C, where 20% of the rich population live with 24-hour security droids that roam the area. Language barriers are mostly solved with audio translation technology, but cultural differences are what keep the races divided. It may be the first city where all races coexist legally, but it is far from peaceful. If it weren't for the military stepping in and providing contracted police droids, Halceon City would surely fall to the multiple crime syndicates trying to gain access to the western Coms Tower.
