Historic American City DESTROYED

Описание к видео Historic American City DESTROYED

The result of a F-2 rain wrapped tornado. Ya might have seen circulation, and the barometer make a dramatic drop, but the tornado itself was kept hidden. The first tornado in the history of Rome, New York. Winds were stated to be about 130 miles per hour, but I think when it struck two church steeples, the wind aloft, was stronger than the wind closer to the ground.
About an hour after the storm passed, and the sun began to emerge, I discovered more damage was caused on North James street, and the streets of West Dominick, Court, Liberty, Washington, Madison, and George.
Aldi, grocery sustained minor roof damage, but all cooler/freezer items perished, with no electricity. Guess it's cheaper for a corporation to recover loss of food, rather than lease a generator, to power the fridge system. Though Aldi's, did have a refrig truck in front of the store at night. They are currently open for business, and the coolers and fruit/veggies should be replaced on Monday.
St. Mary's church obliterated. Same with St. Johns church. The steeples fell onto the roofs, and then collapsed inside. An engineer, stated to me today, that St. Johns may be repaired, but St. Mary's future is uncertain(probably cheaper and more profitable to demolish the church and sell the property).
City Hall: No damage visible. Wow. Would anyone be saddened by the destruction of city hall?
Lots of roof damage and aluminum siding of homes. The ceramic tiles of old city hall on James street, next to Veterans Memorial park and St Peters church, also sustained damage. bad idea to use ceramic tiles in the northeast for a roof. Maybe glue them into place?
The Oneida County courthouse and city police station, sustained minor damage. I think I discovered the light beacon for the Copper city police antennae, in Fort Stanwix Park. Yip. That far. I know of no other towering antennae, in the vicinity. And it was heavy. Yes, I returned it.
As for all the tree branches and bark, sure make a nice bonfire. Perhaps get the community together , have a big evening picnic and bonfire with fireworks, to celebrate Honor America month. Just a suggestion.
