Master of Orion meets Galactic Civilization IV

If you have ever enjoyed a Lets's play of Galactiv Civilizations you will like this one:
An exciting Galciv 4 campaign with Gameplay and voice-acted storyline, featuring the Psilon from Master of Orion with their own voice acted characters, shipset and portraits.

The story for this campaign results from the gameplay (where we start, who we meet, what happens...) but the gameplay decisions are not as min-maxed as in 'normal' Let's Plays. Instead they are 'roleplayed' by the characters, especially by our Psilon protagonist, Zha'mira Zethraal, who has quit a temper, to say the least.

The Psilon Quanta is stranded in a strange universe.
Zha'mira Zethraal, head scientist of the Psilon Expeditionary Force, developed a crude and risky method for instant travel over intergalactic distances.
The hyper jump was successful, however:
Due to the extreme bending of time space itself she found herself trapped in an alternate timeline - another universe, roamed by yet unknown GALACTIC CIVILIZATIONS.

In this particular galaxy, there gather some of the worst bullies you can possibly meet in Galciv 4: The Drengin Slavers and their genocidal cousins from the Korath Clan, the manhunting Festron Spiders, the carbon-hating Yor, the giant mutant Amoebas of the Contanimant. and the especially annoying brainwasher zealots of the Krynniac Cult.

The Psilons from Master of Orion are technically not a gestalt consciousness / hive mind but they gather they collective knowledge of technology and culture within the Controller's Archive wich is an important corner stone for Psilon society.

Isolated from the Psilon Quanta and it's datalinks, the members of the Psilon Expeditionary Force struggle with extreme fluctuation of their virtues, morale and doctrins. Zha'mira Zethraal is the best example for this development, wich is... concerning from a Quanta's point of you.

This Let's Play is despite of all the roleplay an authentic playthrough, but I show especially the moments of the gameplay that are interesting for the development of the plot. So I skip the repetitive grind and only show the interesting parts.

It is only normal difficulty because I don’t min max anything and I don’t play in the most efficient way, but in the most fitting way for the meaningful roleplay. (that means making bad decision by Intent to portrait a character's weakness for example).

But please tell me in the comments if you want me to dive more into gameplay or immersion.

I hope you enjoyed this Episode! It made so much fun to build the characters and story around the gameplay, that I definitely want to continue this playthrough.
