Another The Deacon Shaves YouTube video.
Well, TGIF !! We made it through another week.
And today , not only is it Friday. It's 1st Friday and I salute The Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra.



So, I figured I would use one of his favorite scents today. Aramis. Now I don't have actual Aramis cologne, splash or a shave soap. But I have the next best thing. From @Douglas Smythe PAA, Porthos !

Let's open the books on this shave:
Pre-shave - Hot Shower

My Thoughts - Aramis, brings me back to my younger days, and it was a scent I really liked. And so did The Chairman. This set from PAA comes extremely close if not exact in the scent.
The soap whipped up quickly into an abundance of rich creamy lather. There was plenty of slickness for my Silver tip to do its job. I was clean with 1 small nick(a reopen from the other day ) in 3 passes BBS.

Porthos is touted as an aftershave and cologne (as are all of PSSs splashes) . In longevity, it sticks around (many complements at work) and not a bad feel using it as an aftershave.

Porthos is a very good homage to the original and a good salute to Mr. Sinatra.
