Our sweet basenji Prisca was laying around our house like an old woman basenji, after her big brother Dabi died unexpectedly from prostate cancer. (He was just 4 years old, and Prisca is just 3.)

We took Prisca over to our daughter’s house to see if she’d like to play with Terri’s dogs, but that didn’t work out. Maybe if they’d gotten to know each other when they were all younger… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not too long after this we had a friend, with basenjis of her own, bring her dogs over to meet Prisca. That went much better. I’ll try to upload that video soon. ❤️
