Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal mounted a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, saying he was put in jail as he raised his voice against dictatorship. Addressing party workers at the AAP headquarters in Delhi before surrendering to Tihar Jail authorities, Kejriwal called the exit polls, which predicted a third term for PM Modi, "fake" and asserted that the BJP won't return to power on June 4.

"I want to tell the people of Delhi - your son is returning to jail today. This is not because I am involved in any corruption, but because I have raised my voice against dictatorship. During (Lok Sabha election) campaigning, the PM accepted that they don't have any proof against me. They have raided more than 500 places but have not recovered a single penny," the AAP chief said.

Kejriwal also stressed that the exit polls were "fake" and called it the BJP's ploy to play mind games.
